2011 Bay Area Regional Chickenstock- November 5th, 2011!

Folks, the Chickenstock is now only 17 days away, now is the time to start contacting your chicken friends to remind them about this year's event.

The last time I checked there were only 25 adults and 3 kids attending... remember our picnic site can hold 130 attendees!

I only have about 400 at the moment, but have had as many as 1500 here. I have a lot of ducks and geese that are like vacuum cleaners at meal time. About half the flock is waterfowl.

Hi Laurie and Walt,
I called as well, and talked to Lou. He said he'd been getting calls and messages, and would be meeting with the King Feed Rep soon to discuss. I told him to call me when they were getting it in and I'd post here and on the winecountrychicken chat Yahoo group as well! Keeping fingers crossed!

New addition to the flock below. no pecking order issues. Non-standard "Mackerel" coloration!

since I'm not a licensed dairy I can't legally sell it, but I can give it, or trade it. Not that dairy inspectors are reading here, but I do see reports of small farms being raided, so am lying low. Call or text me

I just heard back from Hal at King Feed, that he will be there on the 5th, and will bring samples, and sacks for us to buy. Check their website & see what sounds good, and I'll let him know.

Hi Laurie,
Trade for chicken earrings???

I'd like to try the Pro-Am Poultry Show N' Grow and the NATURAL Soy-Free Layer Pellet. Let me know when to pic up samples, or if you get them, I'll come to your house.
Thanks!
