2012 Sebastopol Gosling Pics

Some new pics of my 2012 goslings.
This group is around 3 months old, they're starting to get their poofies.
Can't wait to see what they look like in 2 - 3 more months
when they get their longer feathers

Pics # 1, 2, 5 - girls
Pics # 3 & 4 - boys

Feel free to post your 2012 gosling pics here too.

I hope someday for my geese to look like this!! They are still young. So I'll have to wait. Sigh.

They have beautiful curly feathers on them! I want to see what they look like when they get thier long feathers in. Hope next year I can get some of my eggs to hatch out and get some baby's.

Thank you Shannon & Poultry09. Best of luck with your geese.

Hang in there Poultry09...I had a sucky year last year but this year was much better..

Jean these pictured white females are all Mossy daughters by Blueberry Muffin & Trinity and one by my Patty Zimmerman pair.
I also have 3 more Mossy x Trinity daughters not pictured here.
What luck to get so many females.
I guess the Goosie Gods were smiling on me this year.
Pic #3 is a Mossy son and pic #4 is a Bentley son.

In my boy pen and have Mossy & Bentley sons and possibly 2-3 saddlebacks I thought were males are now staring to look more like females
but those are by Bentley x Ivy.
There are some nice ones by both ganders.
Can't wait to see what they look like in a few months.

Here's my new young geese,,not sure of the breed,,any guesses?

they're (I am guessing) about 6-8 weeks?? the wing feathers are just starting now..

Vicki - what LOVELY babies. 3 months old, wow! They grow so fast! My oldest guy is a little over 2 months (dang hatching troubles!!) He has some lovely curls coming in but his chest only looks "ripply" at this point. Lovely guy no matter if smooth or curly breasted.

And of course the youngest baby hatched on 6/3. She's still all baby fuzzy, but starting to get her blue feathers on the saddleback part.

Beeliz, are your babies embden, perhaps? they are adorable goobies! Aren't they fun?? !!

They are wonderful,I really enjoy them so much! I find them much more personal and tame than my ducks...embden was my guess too.

Here are two little sebbies that I did get to hatch out but saddly died a few day later

I really wanted to see what this little guy was going to look like when he got all feathered out, as I have never hatched out any of my sebastopol eggs. What color do you think they would have been? Hope you like them :)
