Good one!

I think, if it happens, well, it was nice knowing y'all. If not, then same poo, different day.

It's another fake thing. Like 1999 "the computers will crash, planes will fall from the sky" then a couple years later 9-11 happened and people tied it to the 1999 prediction. I laugh at the movie 2012

Dont forget that bunch going round this year saying the start of the end of the world is May 21st this year. What I want to know is how come its always mortgage day that is the end of the world?

I'm not worried. In fact, I'm looking forward to all these end of the word predictions! I'll have a great excuse to throw a party when they don't come true.

Edit: If you do believe that the world is about to end, please don't be insulted by my skepticism.

You're throwing a party as well? Sweet!

I'm just looking forward to inviting my friends over for a 'End of the World' party where we riff on Pokemon movies, eat chocolate cake, and maybe even watch the world burn!

Maybe I'll make chocolate pudding with gummy worms and Oreo crumbs and cookie gravestones on top. I haven't made that recipe in years.

That sounds awesome! Can you give me the recipe, please?

just found this thread... funny how many times in my life I've heard the end is coming (the older you are, the more times you hear it) Nearly 30 years ago, I lived up near chicago, must have had some kind of atmospheric conversion because my normal radio channel was picking up something out of Alabama or Georgia, very unusual. The man was ranting that in merely two weeks the world was coming to an end... and in closing asked for them donations! I laughed all the way to work that night!
