Wow, that was a very low hatch rate... Thats like 2 out of 8

I imagine there was more that hatched, but they dont get as many reports back to how many actually hatched so its more of a guess how many people will report back contest. lol.

Lol, i guess so.. Maybe next hatching contest i factor that in... My guess of 6666 was way off... I figured around 80% success

That is part of it, but I did send out a ton of PM's trying to get the numbers recorded. Like was posted in the OP, we had to have a cut off for reporting.

Another part of it is many people got eggs shipped to them. Shipped eggs can be difficult if they are jumbled around too much. Then we had a few members with incubator issues and they lost their hatches.

So all in all, it was a little over a third that hatched.
