Ended 2013 Easter Hatch-a-long Contest #7 "Natural Egg Photo Contest!"

That's a clutch from ...let's see...2005 or 6, I think. Was just scanning random pippling photos and thought that one was cute and not so """blegh, icky, yucky, snake!""" for non-snake lovers. ;)

Yeah, I raise corn snakes. Love the genetics, much like playing with the chickens. My snake breeding season is underway, first 3 clutches in the incubator, about 25 more to come in the next month. Been into corns since...1999, I guess. Got reptile incubation down to a science. Still perfecting chickens. LOL.

OK, not quite poultry. Sharing for fun until I get my poultry egg shots!
That's so cool! I love the little snakes; not such a fan of the big ones tho. Have you ever hatched any other reptiles(turtles, geckos, etc...)? Also, can you hatch them in a normal chicken incubator?

Have hatched geckos, though I don't have them any longer. Never really wanted to keep turtles or tortoises to breed.

These snakes do well at 82 degrees, closed box incubation on moistened vermiculite or perlite. Snake eggs will tell you if the humidity is too low or too high as they are soft shelled. It's a little easier to observe and adjust if needed.
