Thanks Kat
I feel fine sept my face feels like it is itchy and when i go to scrach it i can't feel my face, makes me crazy. kinda like when the inside of your ear itches and no amout of probing and trying to scratch helps stop it LOL

Kathy, candled my first 6 eggs last night, none was good but many were laid within the first days of moving the birds to the outside breeding pens.I didn't expect too much but the second weeks worth of eggs I'm hoping for much better,,,not one bullseye in any of them I put in the bator on the 13h

this happened to me last year my first dozen eggs from various hens were infertile, noticed the same thing with my goose eggs this year.

When I got my wisdom teeth removed I was miserable and I looked like a chipmunk. I was drooling a lot too. I remember the first solid meal I was finally able to have after that...We went to Village Inn and I got this really good meal. It hurt to eat it but it was sooo good!

I am glad Pie is feeling better!

Today it is very stormy. This is my brief time of internet access before we shut everything down again so nothing gets fried.

Well well well, it would appear i have an egg hunting dog.
Miss Annie is such a great guardian, i find her out in the feilds and peas whenever they are roaming and for the second time i have been egg hunting she has found a peas nest, i got 5 eggs yesterday and she found one this morning with a single egg, bad thing is she likes to eat eggs very much and i do not know how many she may have eaten already

Just went to see what the peas were fussing about out in the pasture and when coming back Annie pointed out yet another nest, funny thing is she went there yesterday and when i glanced into the area i did not see any eggs, turned out the hen had covered them up .

Yea some of my peahens cover their nest and some don't makes it very difficult to find them if i do not see exactly where they dropped down to lay cause they can drop out of site in an instant when i look the other way, i seriously thought about painting colored rings around the trees in the woods so i would not loose the place they are laying as sometimes when going to the area i find it does not look the same close up as it did 100 feet away when i was watching .

but god that is alot of paint rings

Up to 20 eggs now, the two under a hen are at day 12 and I'm going to put a bunch under my 30 pound turkey today. Seven of the eggs are from two my 2012 hens and they're in with 2012 and 2013 boys, so I doubt they're fertile, but will set them just for grins. The rest will go in the bator after I give it a thorough cleaning tomorrow.
