2014 breeding season begins, post your results

Just checked, #2 is also pipped! I tell ya, there is nothing nicer sounding than a wee pea peep (except for maybe a 2 stroke motorcycle, lol).

My very first two eggs are developing too! They were laid on 5-1 and 5-4, one from the pied pen and one from the BS pen. They are due on 6-2. I candled on day four and one was developing nicely and the other I thought was going to be a dud and would have to throw it out. What a surprise to see both growing a week later!
 
Thanks you guys,but don't want to get my hopes up as both lost way too much weight by day 24.

Kat they are suppose to loose the water weight threw evaporation that is what gives them room to grow, if you remember the bubble but chicks they did not loose that water weight a(usually due to the thickness or how pours the shell is) anyhow it can give the babe a hard time hatching cause they don't have enough room plus they usually have a hard time getting to their feet because of theit heavy bottom.
