Rancher you have an amazing wife. I'm glad I was able to visit with Nora for a little bit when I picked up the orps. I wouldn't want her to strain herself trying to come. I wish you all the best.

My list of what I'm bringing:
Black Copper Marans straight run chicks, not sure about eggs. Possibly some sexed pullets.
If they aren't sold before, a quad of Wheaten/blue wheaten Marans (I''m concentrating on my Birchens)
Possible Brabanter eggs, from AOP tested neg. parents. AOP is an arthritic type of disease that seems to be prolific in Brabanters for some reason.
Silkies eggs, Porcelain probably, & a couple of silver partridge project chicks.
Pair of FREE paint silkies
Lots of Lav Orpington Chicks. I might sell in pairs, haven't decided yet.
Maybe a Sebastapol goose egg or 2. Depends on how many hatch before then.
Coronation Sussex eggs and/or straight run chicks. Plus I have some young roos.
Cayuga duck trio if not sold before and/or duckings & eggs.
I, as well, won't bring the larger items, like the quad of Wheatens or duck trio, if I don't have interest/payment before the day.
I'm looking for:
Guineas, eggs or chicks
Khaki Campbell ducks, eggs or babies
colored Sebastapols, eggs or goslings
Wheatens, $100, Ducks $40
The roo is a blue Wheaten, and is georgous, one hen is a blue wheaten, and the other 2 are wheaten. 1 hen is 1 year old the others are just 2.
Ducks are almost 1 year old & laying now.
Posted to NY chicken lovers thread.
DW will be having surgery on the 14 th so it looks like we won't be making the Stock. I doubt she'll be up for it and I won't even mention it or encourage her. Sometimes she upsets me with what she pushes herself to do.
She sprained her ankle while I was a way and still managed to take care of the chickens.
How folks can claim there is no God and I end up with a wife like mine is beyond me.
Nice weather today time to start spring cleaning.![]()
