Theyll be 7 weeks old by then...so 15$ they are still in my house due to weather...bleahhhhh

Their crests are just now growing in and funny as heck!! Lol love them...sweet birds..my rooster is one of the nicest ones Ive ever owned next to my brahma boy

Geese are amazing! There's nothing cuter than a newly hatched gosling. Tough little things to hatch though. I hatched a little female sebastopol on Friday and the egg that I set at the same time as her hasn't even internally pipped yet. Still alive in there though. I'm hoping it hurries it up because she's lonely.

I have heard they are tough to hatch which is why I want to get little babies but wow sebastopols are expensive so may settle for a different type for now.

ImpulsiveFarmer, I don't know if you have your guineas separated by color, but I'd love a few chocolate and lavender eggs if they start laying in time.

They all run together at the moment. I was going to turn my one empty pheasant run into a breeding pen for guineas, but I bought more pheasants. Oops.

Gramma, here are the parents. They are just your average ducks.

I mostly raise muscovies and they have really sharp claws,

The pekins are confined separately and are pure pekin. (That's a goose on the left in the first picture.)



They are cute ..LOL my son is 33...I will probably handle them more than he would anyway ..muscovies- I cant get over that head comb thing ewww..

$3 per ducklings if you want young ones only a few days old. The ones due to hatch at Easter will be a month old by Chickenstock, so say $6. If you want the older ones let me know because I wasn't planning on keeping any.




I guess they would make a good 1st duck, these are only my second attempt at ducks. My first ones were pekins and mallards I bought at TS and they ended as dinner as soon as they were big enough. These guys are super easy, they free range and go where they like.

My son (33) likes these ...our chickens free range 1/2 day ...so our ducks would too .
We would take 2-3 ..can ducks be sexed ? or would it be straight run ?
2-3 Babies if it works out ..2 - months old if doesnt work out ..depending on how many hatch

They look like hatchery silkies but maybe mixed with something else since their combs are red??

Those are TSC "silkies". The one looking into the camera is Pinky and he is the sole survivor of the roosters. He was always the friendliest and liked being picked up and cuddled; the rest are in the freezer

They were evil little sh**s and were always attacking and biting.

He has four little hens left and they were all quite hardy this winter, free-ranging in the snow with the rest of the flock. I don't know if they are mixed with something or this is what happens when you breed with no attention to breed standards. They lay a lot of medium size eggs and are broody maniacs. Very friendly and defend themselves well with the big chickens. I hatched out just one of their eggs and she actually looks like a real silkie. (well, sort of)

Ohhh these are your pics? Lol I thought they were something Gramma came across since it didn't look quoted like the rest of her post. Those silkies sure do have some big wattles and combs! (Or at least they did ;-) )
