2014 New York Chickenstock

For auction I will bring a small quilt, with chickens, of course! And for the kids auction I have a ceramic bank shaped like a purse with flowers all over it. Just thought kids might like to bid on it.

And I am currently testing the pork and beans, they will do, I guess.

Mostly looking forward to meeting folks and talking about chickens and other almost farm things.

Baunlee- yes! I need something to keep this pulled pork warm. I'd eat it cold but not sure about anyone else.

awesome I'll bring one for pork and try to fit one extra in case someone decides last minute to bring a hot dish. In any event we can use it to keep hot dogs warm or w.e else comes off the grill.






There is a kids auction?! I didn't know about that. How fun, I might just have to make/bring a PVC kids bow and arrow (see pic above)


Anyways it seems like I've gotten a little crazy starting plants in my sun-room and I blame it on the long winter. I'll bring the following plants for sale/trade or auction

- cucumbers
- mccaslan pole beans
- beets
- Heritage organic 'white icicle radish' (1 pic above)

- Flowers: Russell's Lupine Mix (see 2 pic above)

I think kid auction items are items themed for kids in the Chinese auction. I would buy all your cucumbers if you have some available and some of the tall purple flowers.

aceschix the cukes ill reserve for you- the lupines are a perennial mix so im not sure about the colors

I know someone probably already volunteered for cups and plates but I just came across a bunch of extra K-Cups in my pantry that I'll bring (40) and I've also packed extra garbage bags.

Do we have enough juice/water? Since I'm now bringing my kids I may go out tonight and pick up something to put in their water bottles for tomorrow and possibly pack a small cooler for them just cuz their picky. If anyone can think of anything else we may need I don't mind picking it up tonight...
