Hey beautiful! I'm sorry I'm such a lagger.

Today has been full...again. You know what I wish that when you personally got a response to a post in a thread,that it would notify you immediately. Like when the site was closed. Or open because I never know where to start. I've got so many subscriptions! Any who.....I'd love to come up and personally meet you! Getting silkies would just be a bonus! I hope the two of the five I got tonight have some silkie in them. What other breeds have the huge feather flip flops? The cute lil feet fuzzies?!

Uh oh! Oh brother now I'm thinking I made a doy ! Not that I wouldn't have still got them!!! I got to choose between like 20 birds! A lot of them were Roos though. I wanted more hens. So even if they're not actual silkies,they're adorable!!! And I'll have to find a place that sells silkies. You never know Chickendreams24,I might be up sooner than later!!

I traded 1 barred baby and 2 RIR babies. These are friends of ours so it worked out great. I know most of the history. I feel like I got the better deal though being that I came home with 5! (2 are quacks). Although it really isn't about being even as much as it is about being fair. We were both happy with our trade!

No problem come up any time but I may put ya to work on the coop. it would be nice to get it done. Even though our girls are safe an comfortable at night in their run in the shed I'd just assume have it finished. And it must and will be finished before winter. Then we start on coop number 2 DH2B says I have a problem, I say yeah we need more coops lol no actually I don't say I have a problem I say I have chickens but not enough chickens.

Hey sweetie! I've been going going going today. I'm pooped. I'd love to come help you with your coops. I love any type of construction. When I lived in Ca.,I worked construction for three years. And before that I worked as a mechanic for three years as well. I'm a Tom boy kinda girl when it comes to work. A girly girl on the inside for sure! Plus,my husband has definitely helped soften me up. I hated pink before we met. Can you believe that?! Ok that is so funny!!! And I have pics!!! Found out this am that at least one of my newbies is a roo. Oh well. He's handsome. I'll get you those pics!

This is the Roo. I caught him cookadooing this morning. His name is Brady.

This is my new hen,Brenna. Such a sweet girl. My Roo,Oliver,claimed her first thing this morning. He did his lil "hey baby" dance! The twerkin' two-step! Lol

This is another hen. (I think). her name is Zoey. I'm picky on names. I like unusual.

These are the quackers. I'm not sure how to sex them,but Moses and Elijah came to mind right away. So...unless I figure out otherwise,they're boys.

And last but not least....this is one of my neighbors turkeys!!!
