I gave my flock away last month, that were all hens.
After about 3 weeks with roosters, I did buy some hatching eggs back, from the farm that had my flock. I wanted the frizzle eggs from that group, plus just eggs from my older hens. I set 21, one was a quitter. Now I have 20, not all frizzles, (Roosters were not frizzle-y, and having frizzles 20 years I know about frizzles.)

Hi all sorry I haven't updated. My hatch was absolutely shocking! I went away for 2 days and came home to no power again! But I did have 4 eggs hatch! I'll have to get photos but we had the 1 Marans (Ruby) two olive eggers, one black (Sapphire) one brown (Amber) and a Marans cross also black that needs a name
