My cats are my sons. I would just die. I've actually had to give one of my cats mouth to mouth. I'm all in with my animals so I completely understand. So I have pics but for some reason,I can't get the option to add them! Grrrrrr

We gave a kitten mouth to mouth and brought it back also! We named her Miracle.

Miracle

Miracle seconds after being brought back to life

Miracle is beautiful! Glad you saved her.

Yes I'm totally the same my kitties are my babies the dogs are too but most of the kitties I have hand-raised and/or nursed back to health. People are always aghast when I say we have five cats in the house(it would now be six but two and a half months ago I lost my 15 year old cat Cassie to cancer.) and they're always like don't they shred the furniture and get on the counters and steal food etc etc? And I'm like no. Yes there is a grace period for learning but no they don't get on the counter they very seldom even consider stealing food and usually it's not even food but your water glass. Lol they don't scratch the furniture they scratch their post and boxes and emery boards. Four out of our five were hand raised. We have two that play fetch like dogs three out of five allow their nails to be clipped no problem. Two ask for the bathroom faucet to be turned on for drinks. One knows "that's not yours", "wait your turn (he lays down and waits), "who's the boss(he goes into a submissive position)" be nice, no bite etc and the 15 year old we lost could walk on a leash including verbal commands such as "walk on" "stop" etc and she gave kisses on command. I'm sorry to sound conceited but I kinda like when people are like ew cats and I'm like my cats are smarter than your dog. (Secretly I sometimes think and you don't even come close to my dog, a sheltie, Molly)

Anyway I tried to put her to bed and she walked over and started scratching at that hole even though I had taped over it about four layers. I didn't want to take the chance so I had to go put her downstairs and she was crying poor baby :( I know its best but I still feel like an awful Mommy. She's never had to sleep alone before

All I can say to that is...AWWWWWW!!!!!! So stinkin adorable! I've just rehomed 5 kittens. Outside cats showed up,had a litter and the rest is history. We kept the parents. We're such suckers!!! Sometimes I think there's a sign on my forehead reading"cat lover,free food and lovins!" Lol I do love it though. They're so therapeutic. My inside cats are exactly the same. Austin,my 11yr old Maine Coon tabby,walks on a leash weekly,speaks on command,fetches and patiently suffers through nail trimmings and bath time! He is the most affectionate,loyal to the core cat. He "Konker bonkers" my face every chance he gets! (Nudges and rubs) I look like I have a beard when he's done,but it's worth it. He loves to sleep in the bathroom sink during the day and curled up next to me every night. He's an excellent biscuit maker,as well! (Kneading) Sam is only 3 so he's like a 2yr old sometimes. He's mellowing out though. He loves his walks as well. All of my cats have been rescues. Oh yes cats are highly intelligent. When they don't "mind",it's because they "choose" not to. Not because they don't get it. Oh they do....but we must recognize that "we" are "their" pets. Lol I agree cats totally rule! My husband just bought a German Shepard. He could learn a few things from the two toody tats! (Sorry about taking over with cat stories. Hope y'all don't mind too much.

Agreed. I love DH2B's great dane that is now our great dane but she is such a doofus and naughty and defiant half the time the other she's super sweet and cute. I always say she's our dog but when she's naughty she's just his. He says my standards are too high BC my sheltie, Molly, is so incredibly intelligent and usually impeccably behaved. And yes admittedly my standards are high. She's getting better though. But she does have relapses with the word come.

Yes sorry everyone for taking over hope we didn't bore you too much or bother anyone. I think we all know how proud parents like to brag. :)

@Gloryjasmine
Idk she looks like one kind of. Honestly we thought she was a bobcat hybrid for a while as she was huge even when I got her and had perfect replica markings. Now idk her mother was one of DH2B's father's semi-feral cats. Aka barn cats. And I've never seen any Bengals around here. I mean it's farm country a cat is a thing that lives outside and kills mice to most people around here. To be honest many farmers around here use 22 rifles to keep the cat numbers down so they don't become the pest. Which I think is sick.

Here's a better pic of Luna's spots on her belly

yep our dog has only been with us about 3 weeks now. And he's got the split personality too! Dufus is a good one! Rufus too! Lol my standards are high too. You just tell him that your high standards are also in regards to a forever mate. And being that you chose he. that must be a very high compliment!!! Yea he'll appreciate how you've turned that around for your benefit as well as his. Lol

omgosh yes!!!! The word come is only relevant to a dog when there's food involved. Hahaha! I'll work on getting you the pics of my frog mama. I promise.
