I have a rooster available he was promised to somone at the show but he wasnt able to take him. He is not aggressive at all will eat out of your hand and is handled daily.

If I can get the day off work, I'll probably drive out on Saturday. We went last year & it was great seeing so many good examples of different breeds.

The only birds I have laying right now are my bantam Chocolate Orps, one hen is trying to be broody though, so I probably won't have any eggs to offer. For anyone who is interested I will have bantam Black, Chocolate, Blue, & Mauve Orps this spring.

I had to restart last spring/summer, so my Marans flock is young. Here is a photo of the oldest pullet, Sylvie, doing her pointer impression. She just started laying two days ago at nine months!! She's better lay until next October!

Black Penedesenca laying well and Bantam Brown Red Ameraucana ( only 2 hens but getting 1 to 2 eggs a day pretty good )

black egg color is the lightest usually of the penedesenca thou I have some girls laying some pretty dark eggs as well
