That was also one of my thoughts but I've never seen this before and I've had a few pip at the wrong side of the egg :L
It's in dead centre of the incubator too?

I've never paid any attention to know if that had happened to any of mine.

I just set 10 eggs tonight. Before midnight. Should have goslings by April 15th if nothing goes wrong. I did something that I don't normally do, I candled each one as I put them in. I couldn't find an air cell in any of them.

Air cells are usually very small anyway and out of 10 eggs there should be anyway.
So you ended up putting them in anyway instead of the weekend

I collected my first test buff dewlap egg to set in my bator this weekend. Hope to collect my first white African egg today.

Excited! Used a styrofoam incubator last year to hatch out 64 call ducks, the thing turned off on day 23 and many of them died. ): Hoping this one can give me a better hatch rate!

Wonder if this will effect the place where it pips? Like the few times I've had when they pipped on the small end?

They are fresh, it's a weeks worth of eggs from 3 females. Just goes to show no matter how much you do something over and over you can still learn something new.

this is my first time with geese have a couple of toulse,i think.
was wondering is it like the chicken they lay till the get enough then set it what.
there are like ten eggs in there n showing no signs of wanting to set on them.the gander is all kinds of defensive about us around the nest box.
