Looks like I'm going to be late to the party. Since I didn't get my breeders penned until last weekend, I now have to wait until the 14th or 15th to start collecting eggs if I want to guarantee purity, so my target date to set eggs is now the 18th.

One of my Africans didn't lay today so I don't know if I am doing it later too we'll see Friday!

So I finally got an egg.. FROM MY SEBBIE!!! So since my Bators are running.. I put it in for "fertility testing' (I want more babies) I am going to let her go broody once she has her clutch.

I'm just now collecting for the incubator. First set will be the 14th. We still have a lot of season ahead so no worries J!

I have 3 Pomeranian eggs on day 21 as of tomorrow, just found this thread. I have read the goose hatching thread and am excited/worried at the same time. Has anyone used that artificial pipping mentioned in the goose hatching guide?

Edit: I'm just not sure if/when to use the false pip thing, if it is necessary or not, and how will i know i need it LOL.

I used it on a bunch of call duck eggs, worked for me.
