Darn! I don't get much snow in NC... so far we've only got a couple inches once, and I was sick at the time. Hopefully we'll get some more this year.

Meanwhile, I'll just stare at these cute snow chickies in envy...

Mom was a slw, dad is ???  Got him from the feed store after the lady that hatched him gave him to them to be sold on once she figured out he was a cockerel.  There's more pics of him over here!

Looks like a purebred SLW to me......That or the moms genes just did not take over.

He's definitely a mutt! Tail is too big/tall (but so pretty!!), he's got red lacing in his wing coverts, and he carries himself more upright than a pure bred. Also, someone pointed out that his comb isn't a typical rose comb, it's been modified by a single comb gene. His papa def had some slw in him though, so he's got more of that than any thing.
