Speaking as a former helper, high-quality is pretty much the only thing considered. Pleasing composition, contrast, good focus, etc. One thing that helps get high ratings is submitting eye-catching photos. First impact is really important. Look through other calendars and see the types of pics that are in there.Nifty-Chicken, obviously we would all like to have our photos chosen. Is there any advice/tips you can give to help us know what the judges are looking for. As an example, more natural less, composed. Or pics that show the seasons.
Also is editing photos before submission a good or bad choice?
