That is a Golden laced Polish pullet. Her name is Marion. She is definitely pretty! she is now about five months old (the picture I posted is from a few months ago). I like your music quote. Do you play the piano? I do and it is an awesome instrument.

I love that photo. (the wheel-barrow in the background is kinda cool too). Featured is Hen (yep, that is her name), a golden sexlink. That particular color variation of the sexlink is known by several names including Red Buff and Red/Gold Star.

I love Spitzhaubens! They are beautiful birds. Sadly. I have never had the pleasure of owning any. I know this is an odd question... but do you happen to have some pictures of your spitzhauben? I have a website (thewayofthechicken.com) and I would like to do a post specifically on the breed but I have few pictures to feature.

A lot of nice pics here!
I really need to get a good camera, phone just doesn't cut it. Love the all natural no fence pics, anytime I try to get pics free ranging they're so far away I'm sure the pixels will not be good enough once it's cropped. I actually have more pics of my birds than our kids on my phone Lol! Just none calender worthy, maybe next yr.
Wish I could get some good pics of my white jersey giant's, my rooster is definitely photogenic lol, just can't find a single noteworthy pic on my phone.
Favorite pic of mine anyway even though it won't work for the calendar.

Yeah, I finally got my aunt's long-zooming camera. My boy is sweet, and will come up to me. But when you start following him around, he thinks he's going to be dinner.
