Okay, well maybe I don't understand the relationship between resolution and sizing. I am assuming I can just remove what I don't want? Am I changing the resolution?
Here is the type of situation I am describing. Pic 1 is uncropped, I need to remove some background. Pic 2 shows both rabbits closer, Pic 3, just one.
I have been trying to include 2 chickens in one photo, but usually one isn't sharp enough, so I crop it out. But if I do this, I assume I have decreased the resolution.
edit: My DH says get closer. Or use a different lens.

This is HP (Henny Penny). The day was cold and rainy and so she spent the day indoorsView attachment 1424222 watching what we referred to as HP TV. She would stare at my oven for a really long time. I asked her on numerous occasions if she was watching re-runs.
