All six chicks are still doing fine. They all now sleep in the big tree which surprised me as the second lot are so young. I guess she just feels safer next to the other Peahen, possibly.
Also they all came up to the house a couple days ago which was nice, the chicks seemed a little startled with seeing so many squirrels.
One chick fell out the tree last night, thankfully I was there until he/she worked out how to get back up. Otherwise I'm guessing an owl would've got him/her as this happened last year unfortunately.
I'll try and get some pictures today, as the first ones are looking very different already.

We wing tag the chicks at one week old so I assume it was between one and two weeks of age.

My baby boy, Helios, taking a micro nap on my lap after they all got treats! Every morning and evening, I visit for a little he bit andjumps up and plops down on my knee or shoulder.

he usually has to share lap space with Starburst, who jumps up first.

One of the purple pied ladies sitting pretty on my hand for a picture to send to her upcoming new owner!

Our black raspberries are ripe so I brought a few in to let them try- it was a hit lol

Most of the gang lying down for a recharge nap after the excitement of raspberries
