Is it possible that mother of pearl center is some kind of white-eye variation? On first view I didn't realize it wasn't

Perhaps. It could be like this two-year-old Taupe WE of mine. The eyes are not white, just a lighter shade of whatever color you want to call it.

Notice how much lighter the Taupe WE is overall compared to the Taupe Wild Pattern and the Taupe BS in these two pics.

This is the Taupe WE again for comparison.

I finally took my little loud pied purple lady out for some photos! I am loving how she's turning out, though she's quite a bit smaller than the others still.

Oh i see! Well that's an easy mixup, since the loud pied is "nova" I guess they're both kind of "starbursts" in a way My nephew named the chicken after the candy though
