After a night of rain & mild temperatures where winds shifted from southwest to northeast (meaning I could not leave any windows open), I realize I need to stop merely thinking about this & take some action for keeping my coop dry & not have humidity build up. Ventilation with a sealed motor that won't overheat due to dust is what I need! Just add an automatic thermostat & build a nice hardware cloth cover to keep determined mice out.

Coop sign - Beware the Tiny Raptors
This is something I would post. My spouse dubbed our flock the "velocochickens" for their raptorlike behavior.

Im doing the deep litter method of bedding and when it comes time to fully clean out the coop all I have is a pretty flimsy rake or a garden rake. If I had something like this rake things would go much faster!
