2021 Chick Order

Interesting. Oh well, worst case scenerio, I'm sure I can find eggs next year from a breeder
If you wanted to sex day-old chicks by their foot color, you would need whatever genes or combination of genes make the dark feet show up at hatch. But if you just want birds that fit the breed standard, having it show by the time they grow up should be just fine :)

Yeah, I'm not too concerned with sexlinks (beside my Cochin bantam project) just attempting to maybe show not all hatchery birds are utter trash compared to standards 😅

So first, the strawheads. I have one I need to keep an eye on, he has no problem waltzing up and exploring my hand and fingers with his beak.

And then the normal Black Crested White vs the Inversed Black Crested White.

I'll have to get a picture of my little D'Anvers. They're so, so pretty. Light blues and fawns. I have two more coming next week from my refund, so hoping they make it and genders work out to at least a pair

Also thinking maybe 2 males and 2 females? Or 3 females and 1 male?
One of the females (I'm thinking) is getting colored hackles too.

Also any idea of this guy? Theyre a gold neck D'uccle, And you can see them standing behind one of the chicks above. Tiny comb though compared to everyone else in the age group.
