2021 Chick Order

Pics
Hoover's finally came! They did
substituted an Isabella though for another Wyandotte 😑. Sigh. I wish they at lease substituted similar prices. There was a 2 dollar difference between my Wyandotte female and st run Isabella and it seems every substi9ive gotten this year was cheaper than what was replaced.

I'll get pics in a bit, letting them get warmed up and used to the week olds they're sharing a bin with before I really start stressing them out. Gotta make sure I actually got all my BLG Wyandottes too and that I didn't end up with 13 silver Wyandottes

Baby pictures!

There some wyandottes, polish, the mystery baby, white orpingtons, silver/brown/red lehorns and of course, @VeryHappyHens , Isabellas. They're the pale chipmunk leghorn babies

I can tell you all that in like 6 months when they start growing out properly. All I know now is that I didn't lose any in 2 day shipping and they aren't fazed dealing with week olds in the same bin

My friend came to pick her birds up, so I'm down the silver laced wyandottes, 2 white Orpingtons and 2 of the bresse. Already miss the Bresse honestly. They're the friendliest birds I have in this batch.

Also moved 3 of the weird toed silkies to a nearby family for pets. So I'm down 14 chicks in 2 days.

I am keeping a weird toe in hopes it's a hen. She's just so, so pretty. Bright auburn and brown.

I've named my remaining Bresse: Daryl, Beth and Carol. Kinda a sick joke due to their breed's main use, so bonus points if you can guess what show they're from.

Rachet broke her toe on her bad foot. She is walking normally now though, and not making sounds, but it definately is broken. I was expecting it though since she's just getting bigger and heavier and she couldn't walk like she was her whole life without defying physics

Spread everyone out a bit now that one bin was down a few birds. This darn weatger, I wasn't supposed to have them all inside this long but it plummeted to 20s and i camt risk losing more birds.

I think my two Frizzle girls are frazzles. Their back feathers barely developed compares to my stunning 👌 male Frizzle and their feathers on the wings are looking like rat nests
