2021 Chick Order

Sigh, have to start making mash for my NN cockerel. He's so bad at wasting food, it's not even funny. Constantly scooping feed out and pecking so hard pellets fly out of the bowls.

Lost his sister last night. Weight plummeted over just a few days. His eating habit and wasting food likely didn't help at all, but she was skinnier than he was anyways. Shame, she was just stunning. Didn't have time to look at her last night, if she's still on the pile today, checking to see if anything is noticeable.

Wind has basically demolished my grey prefab. Came home to it crashed against the bresse and birds scattered.

Found 4 of the 5, missing my frazzle. Terrified she's not going to make it since it's still blowing horribly and she probably has less protection than I did looking for her.

Girls are shoved in the polish pen for now just so they're good, male is by himself and hoping he'll be fine until tomorrow.

Feel awful, it happened at some point after dark. Japanese girl scraped her beak up decently, one of my Cochin had brairs tangled over her legs and was caught in a rock hole.

I guess on the bright side, I have some new arrivals coming at some point hopefully. 2 showgirl and a satin, hopefully all female.

Found Crispy, so everyone in the grey coop is accounted for now, whew.

They're mad, they don't have a ton of room now (broody boxes are roughly 3x2, so I have a pair in one and the smaller 3 in another).

Now I need to plan what to do with the coop. It's pretty bad, I can't do it myself physically. So I'll either have to wait over a week and get help to fix it and reinforce it, or build a new one completely and that will take weeks probably.

Door and nesting box wall were ripped out, still need to find them. Floor is wedged crooked, ramp tore part of the floor off when it was yanked off, trim pieces are scattered.
