Are the billings eggs the ones that seem empty or with bloodrings?

Only a few, most are from my own flock

Plus the empties I'm not too surprised, some of the males are old and one I'm not sure can physically mount his hens because he has bad feet. Plus one came from a dead hen so it probably wasn't finished being developed either. It's jist the ringed ones I'm bummed about because most were great looking a few days ago

That looks like a bloodring, big vein around the embryo. Not good. How long in the incubator?

It's either day 10 or 11 (I'll check tonight after classes) most of the others with rings didn't have the black spot neat the top so that was throwing me off. Kinda sucks, I've never had blood rings before

I usually get bloodrings from ebay eggs 50 percent of the time. But this time these eggs in my incubator is from my own flock. And I only candled 4 eggs out of 10, just being lazy, but for tan eggs there hard to see inside. There due to hatch this Sunday.

None of these eggs were shipped. All are either from my hens or from a classmate about an hour away. I'm thinking it's just my incubator. I'm getting some thwrmostickers like in reptile tanks to measure the temperature since I have no way to place a thermometer in this incubator

Maybe you can stick an Oral Thermometer in a Vent? That helped me confirm my machine's Temp was oK - when 2 Amazon cheapie Hygrometer/Therm digital readings were 6 degrees apart from one another. I got over 60% hatch on shipped eggs. 1 blood ring, a couple of blanks, i broke one, and 6 Quitters...one after Pipping.
