The Olive Egger meal maker is such a fun chick! Very inquisitive and a total snugglebug

That chicken math is hard to resist! Especially when it involves such fluffer babies 😍

Reason for the Silkies, is that my broody hatch was a complete flop. I don't think I've got any Silkie eggs left under them. I scrapped a quitter Silkie egg, & an EE egg that went bad.

So, out of the 13-14 eggs, I've got 5-6 left. I think.

Plus, my 2 original broodies, multiplied to 6.

So, the silkies will give us, 3, & our friend 3.

Wow, what a wonderful thread! I loved reading about everyone’s orders. So much variety. There are always cool breeds to checkout and investigate.

Also a shout out to the Utah peeps. I’m here too! Building up a new flock again after traveling.

17 barnyard mix local eggs (Utah County) on day 15, a dozen Black Copper Marans from a breeder (should ship tomorrow), then one final hatch of 2 dozen shipped eggs (from Central Utah). That should give me enough birds to grow out. With the ultimate goal of a nice colorful egg basket next spring.
