Perfectly normal for a Green or High percentage chick. This little guy is out of one of my higher hybrids but not nearly as high as yours. I have on order a pair of Imported Greens from Bobs Green Peafowl so my adventure with Greens and really High % hybrids is just starting. Also the chick seems to have a odd shaped head, almost like it's got a knot on top of its head, and out of the 7 chicks I've hatched this year its definitely the biggest
Pure greens are alot of work but they are addicting. If you can handle high strung birds that want to kill everything they are worth the extra work.Perfectly normal for a Green or High percentage chick. It will be interesting to see if they kill themselves. I have a good chance with them since I have heated barns but I'll have to call on my inner peafowl whisperer to make them calm. My main interest in them is to bolster my Pieds and Whites. I'll let Gerald continue the pure lines since he is as good as there is with Greens in the US.Pure greens are alot of work but they are addicting. Yes.One last question about the chick I hatched, he has much darker colored legs than my other chicks, is that normal with the green peafowl
