I think with a couple changes to the format it could look a lot less cluttered, like having it say: QOTD, Jul 8th '25: how do you like your eggs? It's obviously still a question with a date attached and it's clearly part of a BYC question series so spelling out "question of the day, day, month, year, etc." isn't necessary. But if you reply to the question then you will have it right there?
If you put the question in the title it’s going to look awfully cluttered, especially with “Question of the Day” and the date as well.
But I like it that way…I think with a couple changes to the format it could look a lot less cluttered, like having it say: QOTD, Jul 8th '25: how do you like your eggs? You'll learn to like a different format after a minuteBut I like it that way…
I hate change unless it’s absolutely necessary, like my fixing my deck because it’s falling down.

That is (usually) true. You'll learn to like a different format after a minute![]()

And I'm glad that Azurban pointed it out so I can fix it before the question is asked, therefore ensuring there is less confusion, and thereby reducing unnecessary chatter.Clarifying questions should be left to the OP or saved for when the question becomes its own thread.
In the answer threads there is no unnecessary chatter. In this thread you in particular are a large contributor to the unnecessary chatter. And I'm glad that Azurban pointed it out so I can fix it before the question is asked, therefore ensuring there is less confusion, and thereby reducing unnecessary chatter.
