So…. I’m torn… I have 2 pictures as “submissions” separated by a *environmental perspective photo* that shows the placement of both these boys in the coop.
1st) this is Poledark (our Polish Roo’ ) whom is 2nd/3rd in command but, started to challenge “Big Gray” for Alpha status over the last few weeks….
2) is the big picture (not a submission)
3rd) Is my 2nd submission of “Big Gray” and most of the girls around him settling in for the night. And the fact He is “eyeing Poledark” is funny still….
Here are two of our Bachelors that are true mixes. The charcoal looking Silkie that is a “barnyard mix” that was from a Silkie Momma & a mixed Silkie Roo from 1st hatch out 2+ years ago or our original White Silkie Roo before he died last fall. Note the green sheen on wing feathers.
The copper top Roo is from last years hatch out and has feather feet and 5+ toes yet, had EE green sheen to the wing feathers and some tail feathers.
On a passing whim, I’d like to ask the “powers that be” if a “motion” picture is viable in the future? Case in point, this sample was just fascinating to catch as he was re-adjusting his feather from the wind…. I happened to have been sitting there long enough to catch it the 2nd, 3rd time around:
@casportpony i hope this question/ idea for future contest is asked in the right way?
Portrait orientation (taller than it is wide). Needs to be landscape (wider than it is tall)
Also kinda smallish, this is only 688 high by 516 wide. 3000 wide by 2000 high or better is ideal.
