2023 TSC Chick Prices

Bantams were slightly higher paid 5.99 last year,6.49 this year ( needed to put with solitary egg that made it to pip)my receipt last year for sexed pullets ( eggers 4.99/blue andalusion 5.99)so far i have seen sexed red sexlinks 4.99,turkens,4.99, andalusions 6.99, barred rock 4.99, rir4.99)

Assorted Bantams was $4.49 and premium pullet Easter eggers was 5.29 in Texas . Orpington and Welsumer chicks were 3.99 and Broiler chicks were 2.99

They had Silver Laced Orpingtons today at a Tractor Supply in South Eastern Nebraska so I grabbed four because I am an Orpington Addict $3.49

I don't live near feed stores, so I have not seen prices. I know a lady in our area was selling chicks she hatched RIR for $3 straight run. I am not a RIR fan. I sell my EE chicks at times for $6. But those are females.
When I went to a feed store one hr from home, they only had bantams, meat birds and turkeys. A different store had more of a selection, but the chicks didn't look "happy". In MT where I visited last month the had a limited selection at Murdocks but the chicks they had were all friendly. I like to hatch, then I don't ever have to worry the baby chicks have a belly full of wood chips.

Found a local hatchery and they sell the Ayam Cemani chicks for $25. We got the Isabar for $10, the barnyard find were $2 and the Easter Egger $5. They ship and have an Easter sale going on right now. I have not checked our local TSC.
