The white ones I am not sure yet. Pretty sure this black is a rooster. He has blue on his cheaks.
But with silkies I am not 100% sure yet. lol.
I have three black. I think two are rooster and one hen. Then I have 5 white not sure on them they all look very similar... then I have 5 more that are only a month old and I have no idea on those.

I hope you end up with the sexes that you want.

For this contest, we need pictures that are wider than they are tall.

The black one is my silkie Rooster Branch. The leghorns mother had decided she was done rearing them a couple weeks prior. Branch is a wonderful dad and babysits chicks weeks after the momma's are done. It does not matter that 99% of the chicks are not his, he watches over them all.

Oh wow how sweet I wish I could let mine free range. But, we have harks that watch constantly over the chicken coop. Plus I don't know if my Great Dane would let him do that either. So I keep them well protected.
