Entry 1: Baby Powidl

At this age her and her 3 siblings(?) Would sleep on twigs under a hebe bush during the afternoon when it started getting too hot in summer.

Sleepy time! Cute!

Entry 2: Ata and Hopī

Same father, they spent most of the day together and roost next to eachother. This was just prior to when Ata (the black one) started to lay.

Entry 3: Ata & Pancetta Poncho (Hopī and Brezel in the back)

Pancetta poncho is likely the actual mum of the 2 in the back. She's a hen, the others are pullets. This was before Ata started to lay

They look like they are enjoying themselves.

Aaaand Entry 4: Moomin her son

Not totally sure if moomin is the actual mum but she hatched him and thr other chicks out and raised him

She looks like an attentive momma.

Nice looking chickens! What breeds are they?

Darcy is a new breed I'm developing in generation 2 Lilith is a blue austrolorp and they are always hanging out. She is brooding some eggs that are from hens I'm using for the breeding project, but half are her's.

Penguin is a Silver Spangled Hamburg-and so is the rooster. I will see if I have the full-sized version of my 2nd Entry-thank you for letting me know it is too small to judge!
