Do you know what sex they are?

The white ones I am not sure yet. Pretty sure this black is a rooster. He has blue on his cheaks.
But with silkies I am not 100% sure yet. lol.
I have three black. I think two are rooster and one hen. Then I have 5 white not sure on them they all look very similar... then I have 5 more that are only a month old and I have no idea on those.

My sweet bluey

Hi there!

This image is in portrait format (taller than it is wide). For this contest, images need to be submitted in landscape format (wider than tall), suitable for printing on a physical wall calendar. Please see the first post in the thread for more details if you need them. Do you have another image you'd like to submit? This one won't work at all, there's not enough room to crop it to the right orientation.

There is a line for the nesting boxes- yes they are cardboard there are 2 boxes and 1 hen was squawking loudly telling one of the other hens to get out she needs to LAY an egg NOW!!

Darcy is a new breed I'm developing in generation 2 Lilith is a blue austrolorp and they are always hanging out. She is brooding some eggs that are from hens I'm using for the breeding project, but half are her's.

When are the eggs due to hatch?
