Several of you entered more than four entries. You will be contacted via a conversation and asked to choose the four that you want to have judged.

Judging has begun, and we will contact the top 20-30 finalists via a conversation by September 15th at the latest, so be sure to check in often!

Thank you to everyone involved in putting the calendar together. I do not envy your guy's position, every picture submitted is lovely. I also want to say to everyone else who entered, your pictures and your chickens are beautiful. I think we all deserve a pat on the back for being able to capture a nice picture of a chicken. I know from personal experience to get those few good photo's, we all have about 3000 not so good to downright terrible shots of them.

#1 Franklin, 6 week old bantam frizzle pth rooster
#2 Bella Lugosi, 1 1/2 yo bantam showgirl silkie, the broody queen
#3 top left is Tinkerbell, bottom right is Franklin. Both are 6 wk old bantam frizzle pth. Tinkerbell is blind from one eye and tilts her head to see. Franklin watches or for her and the other little pullets, like a good roo.
#4 Frizilla, white crested frizzle blue bantam frizzle pth. He is about a week old in this photo. He is stunning now at nearly 16 weeks.
