A soaker hose ? You leave it running all day? Doesn't it make things muddy? Im freezing water with watermelon and some with sunflower seeds, worms

I work from home, so, no, I do not leave it on all day. I will turn it on when temps hit 90, but barely on, you do not see the spray come up. off after and hours and then maybe again a few hours later. And it is set up in the shade in the grass. And I am in Florida, sandy soil.

Nice, im in Plant City and we don't have grass in the coops. Wish we did but yes know the sand.

She's a white sapphire, I think. Mcmurrayhatchery.com used to have them. For all intents and purposes, she's a splash (BBS) leghorn. Having a broody leghorn is a bit of a shocker.
