i can bet money that my 2 new chicks are both boys

im not gna use it again!! if they are that is.. one of mine looks stronger then the other.. and one keeps trying to peck the other ones egg tooth off.. but they are both sooooooo cute!

I hope mine isn't sexist! Lol. I can only keep hens at the mo, although hoping I can keep a small cockeral at some point. If mine all turn out to be roos I will try again, if they are roos too, the rcom mini goes out the window! Lol.

Well, i DO believe my hydrometer took a dive on me during lockdown. My chicks werent wet, they were sticky, i've spent the last few minutes trying to rub them fluffy. The last one to hatch is going to need a bath, there is shell stuck to it i watched the other chicks peck at the pip here and there. I'm kinda glad tho...because who knows if it would have hatched if they hadnt. The 2 that didnt hatch that went into lockdown didnt have any fluid or anything in the air cell area, or freefloating so i'm not sure what happened. I guess they just werent meant to be. Congrats to everyone. Cant wait for spring!!! Hopefully be hatching some of my own eggs by then. But the rate my girls are going, lol might not happen.

My three are running around eating and drinking. Sooo adorable

I want to try again with my own eggs. I know the shipped ones don't do as well. I have just gotten 6 gorgeous, silkies chicks from a local breeder and they are gorgeous. 3 splash and 3 blue. I think I have a splash roo and a blue roo and 4 hens. I so want more babies

one of mine looked a bit sluggish yesterday.. the sugar water helped alot! today he/she seems fine.. they are already getting the begginings of feathers on their wings.. its amazing how fast they develope

and we should all deffo keep in touch

we shall see if i get a pullet... hopefully!! but i dubt it lol

and how is ur sluggish baby heather??
