Mine were staying wet too. I still only have three. I don't see any pips in the remaining eggs soooo, just don't know. I quickly opened the bator and hubby scooped them out and immediately closed it. Didn't loose any heat or humidity. The three are in the brooder now and are dry and fluffy. Don't think we hurt the remaining eggs. Don't know if they're gonna hatch or not. I have three little SLW cuties tho and I'm just gonna hope the others hatch. If not, I'll be happy with the three. Goodnight and good luck!

one of mine just hatched at 10:45!

two more have pipped and I don't think they'll hatch till the morning. they better not because I want to watch them just like the first one. I'll post pics once I get enough of all of them! oh and the first one is moving all of the other eggs around is this bad? or will they be fine?

i don't think there drying very fast because of the high humidity. the one that hatched last night isn't even remotely dry I'll be taking him out once I set up the brooder. Oh and how could I almost forget another hatched just now this morning at around 6 o'clock and 2 more have pipped from what i can see because the others are pushing them around lol!

But I have three gorgeous little SLW's and I can be happy with that on my first hatch! I'm gonna leave the eggs in the bator alone for another day or so then clean it up. I was thinking of trying to get some Serama eggs to try but happened upon a breeder here who has some beautiful ones

So gonna go that route instead. Hoping everyone gets more little fluffy butts today

Gosh, I am sooo jealous, I have to wait til the 30th before mine start hatching.

Final count is 6!!! Put 11 in at lockdown 5 were iffy of those 5, 2 hatched. 2 that were good did not, the very first one i heard cheeping before lockdown pipped internally but not externally, the other appears to not even attempted. I dont' think a little better than 50% on my first try with a good number of detatched aircells is too shabby. I'm moving them into the temp brooder now. The heat lamp i have is just too hot, so i'm trying to see what the temp is in the day under a window with no ac blowing in that room. I'll post pics later.
