21 weeks, no eggs yet

Been lurking here for a little bit. We have 6 BSL hens that are approximately 21 weeks. Wife is about ready to eat them. No eggs yet. Three of the 6 have bright red waddle and crown. They "talk" to us a lot when we go out in the back yard. I hope they start laying soon.

After posting, we had to go to Indianapolis for the afternoon (2 hour drive one way). Upon returning home, the birds were talking it up. Went to check the feed pan, it was empty, but there right next to it laid our first egg. Bout time! LOL
