21st day of incubation, few questions

Yeah I saw that. No ...nothing dropped on it. It just grew on there and I checked the whole bator and the other eggs to see if any were cracked or came open

I'm on day 21 of incubation and still no pipping :( upon candling all was perfect! I followed all the rules temps and humidity were all on track I did open my incu a lol' more than usual as I'm sooo impatient but not enough to cause a temp fluctuation ..... Please help a worried momma hen

Overeasychicky hang in there.... I'm on day 22 with some rocking and peeping but no pipping.... sometimes they just take their time and come when they want just like human babies

Thank you so much for your encouragement this is just about as nerve wrecking as being pregnant in the last few weeks! I'm sure when they hatch I will realized I worried for nothing :)......

We are in our 2nd hatch with a Havabator- I added the fan kit to it this time round and things seem to be much better. Friday was day 19 (lockdown) we woke up Sat to 2 hatched chicks which suprised us- I think adding the fan and keeping to temp a rock steady 99.6 helped. We candled twice but our eggs are dark brown and deep green/blue so it is terribly hard to see anything.
Out of 29 eggs, so far 20 are hatched a doing well- we did remove the hatched chicks this a.m. since it had been about 40 hrs from the 1st hatch- I had put papertowels down under the eggs when I removed them from the auto turner- not sure if it helped but when we removed the chicks this morning, I misted the paper towel and moved the eggs to the far side of where I misted. Humidity came back up fairly soon-

I just wonder how many days I should wait after the 21st day if they don't hatch , to dispose of the unhatched ones and should I candle them?

I have heard of chicks hatching on the 25th day, if you don't get anything by the 23rd i would candle to check for internal pips unless you have eggs in the bator which are in the process of hatching because opening the bator will drop humidity and may cause shrink wrap. If you start to get a bad smell or see an egg oozing it could be about to explode i would find the culprit and remove it immediately.

Today is day 23 and I candled my eggs after much hesitation but I did it in the warm bathroom with humidity , all my eggs had chicks in them and they all responded to the light very vigorasly! ANY ONE GOT ANY SUGGESTIONS?
