22 day old chick possible broken leg

With the labored breathing you could be looking at serious bruising and possibly cracked or broken ribs in addition to what's going on with the leg. I wouldn't pick her up any sooner than you have to. For something that would be strong enough to do that kind of damage the oldest chick might be able to do it but the why and how aren't obvious to me.

On the positive side if she makes it through the first 24 hours she's probably able to deal with the injuries and should heal. And if there are bruised or cracked ribs they could account for the limited mobility as well as a broken leg would. She might not be walking because it hurts too much to walk because of the injury and is just holding the leg funny because that's most comfortable. I can't really see anything inthe picture that makes me think the leg is broken.

Other than putting a shallow dish of water in easy reach so she doesn't need to move, I wouldn't recommend anything you haven't already done other than to reassess her condition tomorrow. And if she's already using the water you provided I might not even add the shallow dish. .

22 day old chick possible broken leg. She is also gasping for air. We have a check that is having a hard time standing on one leg she acts like she’s in pain. Having to separate her from the rest of the brood. She is one of nine in the brooder. Suggestions
Remove the towel and shavings and use puppy pads on the cage floor so she has a hard surface to walk on.

The leg looks splayed out - can you get a good look at her joints - any swelling at all?

Feel of her all over, for any swelling or air under the skin. Make sure her crop is emptying overnight - hard to tell in the video if she has a fullish crop or just the angle.

I would start her on 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily and see that she's eating her chick starter.

Hard to know what's going on there, but could have slid and splay or it may be a developmental/leg disorder that has just now appeared.
