22 weeks old and no eggs

Thanks :) yes, I was pretty excited to see it there, despite it being so small! With five chickens all of different breeds though, it's hard to tell which one it came from. They're all about 21-22 weeks but none of them have massively red combs or wattles and only one has been semi-squatting when she thinks we aren't looking, and only fur a few seconds at the most.

Yay! We had our first eggs this weekend. We have gotten two perfect (a little small) eggs and one broken one. They haven't hit the nesting box yet but at least they are in the coop. My son was so excited.

Congrats - he looks SO proud!
I got my first egg today too! In the nest box too, clever girl!
Congrats - those first eggs are so precious!

Thanks

Are all of the breeds expected to lay the same color egg? If not, that is a good place to start narrowing the list of likely culprits.

All are supposed to lay different colours. This one was a very light creamy colour with dark speckles on the fat end. It could have come from a ranger, speckeldy, bluebell, bovan nera or light sussex
