Dog wins ☠️☠️

I'm going to use this on the rafters and the heavier stuff I have for the side panels. Did not even PHASE her lmao. She just busted through at top speed like the kool-aid man.

Pictured here, totally unscathed (she's the black and tan):

Looks like the attachment point failed, not the HC. Use fender washers to make the attachment footprint larger.
Thanks! Will make another trip to the store. I'm not familiar with the term fender washer. Does that refer to the size of the washer or the material?

I have 2 rolls of 19 gauge, but needed one more roll. That was basically all the store had left and they had to have it shipped in.

Fender washers are about 1" or larger with a small hole that the screen head won't fit through.

You can also sandwich the HC between the frame with a piece of 1x3. Screw that 1x3 to the frame pinching the HC and holding it tight

Guessing it was attached inside the first square, easy to bust the welds on the edge.
Attach thru second or third square from edge.

ETA: looking closer, looks like you did go thru second square.

Might need some heftier mesh outside the HC.

If you look at the pic, the screw heads were not very big. Easily breached. Fender washers and/or sandwiching HC between frame and 1x3 might do the trick. Seeing she already has the 23g, might as well try and make it work.
