My husband wants me to rehome both some hens as well as the roos. I found a home for a couple of roos and they want some hens. I am keeping my original roo as he is aggressive so i dont want to pass him to someone else. The other roos have completely different temperaments from him... all friendly and approach me, except one who keeps his distance and watchful, but tried to intervene when the original flogs me. Never experienced a friendly roo and has been so nice. Of course I know that could change. I hate to rehome my hens but if i rehome 5 standard size together, the change might be less stressful for them. At least they will be together. I wanted input on the least stressful way to do this for the hens and roos. And also some of the roos are so small. I wondered if i kept one would ratio still be off. I would have 2 roos and 18 hens (if my math is correct). The hens are a year and a half old. The roos around 4 or 5 months. Thank you for any input. The members of this forum have been so helpful in the past. I really appreciate the insight of people here. I've been needing to downsize for awhile, just kept putting it off. I'll attach photos of the roos. EE green egg gene father and various mothers from mille fleur to maran.

That ratio would certainly be better than it is now. Are they planning to start a flock with multiple males? Or do they already have a bunch of hens?
They do own hens but i am not sure how many. They are on 2 acres in the countryside and i think the chickens would free range. I was told they would not be meat birds, that they love animals and the wife likes to bake with eggs. My husband has met the daughter of the family and said the family sounds very nice. The father said he is going to build an extra coop if we are bringing a lot. However, i plan to bring just the 2 roosters first (we only have 2 cat carriers anyway) then bring the hens if they have enough room.

Bantam roosters can pretty easily be kept with a smaller number of hens because they tend to be less rough with mating.
Ok good, because we have so many bantam roos. They have paired up into roo groups according to size and same clutch. I hate to split them up but I suppose they would eventually start to fight more anyway. I know at maximum i can only keep the original one, and one of the smaller bantams.
