23 weeks and counting

My polish are over 26 weeks old and I am still waiting

I emailed a polish breeder and he told me his started at 21 weeks so I don't know what their problems are.

Good luck on you baby chicks and make room for mine when they hatch

Mine all started laying right around 24 weeks, so don't give up hope. I still have a few (28 weeks)that aren't laying yet (out of 13 hens I am getting about 9 eggs a day), but I am sure it won't be long. I just bought 3 more RIRs and 1 red cochin they are about to be 20 weeks so I will still have a wait on them I am sure. But I have the lights ready to try to have a productive winter. I am going to buy some more chicks this weekend. I am not sure what I am thinking, LOL. But we spent the day getting our brooder area set up and should finish tomorrow so everything will be ready for them on Friday. I can't wait!
