We had our first hatchling, a Serama, he stayed in the incubator for 24 hours. We moved him/her to the brooder. He drank and ate. Twice we found him on his back, we righted him and he seemed fine. Then we found him on his back and he was dead. Is there anything we are doing incorrectly, as the next should be hatching soon!

    Thanks, we are broken hearted!!

Sorry for your loss. [IMG] Sounds like you are doing everything right. Sometimes chicks just keel over and die - an unfortunate fact of life. Nothing to do about it. Hopefully all will go well with your next, [IMG]
