My gosling internally pipped over 24 hrs ago and has made zero progress( not even an external pip). How long should I wait before stepping in? I don’t want to help if I don’t have to.

I don't have any experience with goslings, but with ducklings it is normal to take a long time after internal to external pip, even 2 days, so goslings may be similar. Hopefully someone can help you who has specifically hatched goslings. But 24 hours doesn't sound too long yet to me.

Sooo I woke up and saw that all the veins had receded and that he was shrink wrapped, the membrane was totally hard around him. I slowly chipped away tiny pieces of shell and ended up with this beautiful baby

Unfortunately I lost the other two goslings that I was incubating with him early on. He will be one seriously imprinted lone baby, I expected him to die as well so he’ll be in the house next couple of days before I can get the brooder outside set up again.
