I make my husband eat store-bought ones
:lau understandable! Seems like tons of work when you could just make a burrito or enchilada far easier and that tastes way better 😂🙈

I buy frozen store bought ones that are really close to the actual Mex made ones around here. What I will not eat are the canned ones.
They make frozen tamales!?!?!

Very true. New Mexican places only serve chile though (no chili). Although green chile stew is very popular and delicious. Sadly, it is often too spicy for me :hit
Try making my version. You have the recipe on the CD. A former coworker whose husband does not eat spicy stuff loves it.

Burritos and enchiladas can be good too but to make the false claim that they taste better than good tamales is just plain wrong especially coming from someone that has defective taste buds.

:lau touché!! I guess I should have clarified that the shell part sounds disgusting. I’m sure the inside is pretty good but do people eat the shell or?
They make tamales and freeze them just like many other foods are produced and frozen.
:lau true but I just didn’t realize they made them or that they’d be good I guess! Since usually most frozen stuff isn’t. Or at least a lot of frozen stuff.

No, you don't eat the corn husk just like you don't eat the clove stuck in baklava.
Ohhh okay that makes me feel better then! And I don’t know what a baklava is 😂
Again more unfounded assumptions. Many things accept freezing very well.
True but a lot of frozen stuff is also highly processed and not very good nor very healthy
