25 Days of Christmas…….Traditions, Movies, and More

I got my tree up last night, although it hasn’t been decorated yet. My family has had Hallmark Christmas movies playing way more than I would like, but other than that, the only movies I’ve seen this year is The Grinch (with Benedict Cumberbatch) and The Ref.

I forgot to mention my other my most favorite Christmas movie, To Grandmother's House We Go. ❤

You people have to stop listing these inferior movies, especially implying they are classics when I have underwear older than a lot of them.

There is only one Christmas movie worth mentioning here. It’s not an old movie but it’s a great one.

The “Christmas Story” supplanted another not all that old a movie “It’s a wonderful life” as the number one greatest Christmas Tale and movie of all time.

The movie is so good, that I have tried to get a leg lamp for the living room for 35 years and still haven’t managed to get one. Of course, in all fairness to the leg lamp manufacturers of the world, the WW has vetoed the leg lamp for 35 years also.

I do also think Elf is great, and Home Alone is pretty good.

I must admit The Christmas Story is a movie I haven't been able to finish---just as awful as Napoleon Dinomite! Original Miracle on 54th Street is still my #1
